Prevention of dental disease
Our Smiling Lavender Programme invites you to join one of our sessions with an oral health educator to learn about the key elements of maintaining a healthy smile and good oral health in an interactive and engaging way.
We know the key to healthy, disease-free teeth and gums is prevention. To prevent tooth decay and gum diseases, patients should be able to clean their teeth effectively and limit their intake of decay-causing sugary foods and drinks. Although other factors – such as smoking, genetics or cardiovascular diseases – can have an impact on dental health, effective tooth brushing techniques and a healthy low-sugar diet can significantly reduce the risks of decay, gum disease and tooth surface loss.
